Can't play Overwatch because the update today will not download.
Says '10% downloaded' but when I go to 'Notifications' it's 0 with an empty download bar.
Never experienced this before with any other title updating. My internet is also fine.

I'm having same issue, I have 100gb free space on my ps4so I just restarted my ps4 with 100gb free space and it downloaded fully I guess. The bar doesn't update while it downloads so you have to restart your ps4 to see where you are at
I'm having this problem, but on PC. it says it's downloading at 0 bytes/second and it was doing this yesterday before my computer bluescreened.
I deleted download. 'Shutdown' PS4. Removed power for 3 seconds. Turned on, it found the download and started progressing through it.

Same problem. Been sitting here for four hours trying to fix it, making sure there was space, making sure nothing else was using the Internet in the house, finally decided to reinstall and now I'm back to 0% with absolutely nothing moving. Tried restarting after that and nothing. It just says 99+ hours left.
Basically don't decide to reinstall, even if Sony tells you to. It won't do you any favors.

i have 30gb left and when i try to download update file it goes 3% then 2% anthen tells me i dont have enough system storage
Okay, so I'm having some problems as well. I'm havin troubles only downloading Overwatch. I have rebuilt data base, reset to default settings and initialized my PS4. Even changed the DNS in my network settings. All of which has still failed me. I even contacted Sony and they couldn't even help. I tried downloading the same disc and all that on a different PS4 and worked on that. Just not mine. What's the deal??
I have the same problem, I even returned the first disc and got a second one of the same game, its not the disc its definately Blizzard with a stupid update that ruined the chance for players to download Overwatch

I had the same issue with a 15 gb update instead of a 1.8 gb... called psn and they told me to delete the download turn the ps completely off, then hold the power button 7s till it beeps again.. then it went to a menu and I chose the rebuild database option.. after that I got back on and started the download.. it said preparing to download and I paused it to see how many gb it was going to be. It still said it was 15 gb but when i unpaused and it finished preparing, it changed it to 1 gb. sorry for long description lol hope it helps if you keep having the problem..

Try manual update.
Hover over the Overwatch game press the options button on your controller.
Select 'check for update'
The update should start once you do that.

Yea I'm having trouble too. I'm a console player and I tried restarting and turning off my PS4 for it to say Cannot download the update file.
To check the problem, select. [notifications] > [Downloads] which I do. Also I know that I have enough storage, I checked and it says I have 300 GB still. Can anybody help?
